Every CONCENTRIC dial is generated by software — algorithmic tools, AI image generators, and layer-filter processes. Four distinct approaches. One goal: a dial that is unique to that watch only.
The original CONCENTRIC technique. Dials are generated by Daniel’s own proprietary art software — custom algorithms that draw concentric rings, radial gradients, and geometric patterns. Each output is unique by design; the software never produces the same dial twice. This series is the most direct expression of the brand’s founding idea.
The PopArt and abstract series use AI image generators — Midjourney, DALL-E, and other tools — to create dial artwork. Daniel developed prompts and refinement processes to produce images that work at watch scale: bold colour, clear structure, no noise. The AI is a collaborator, not a replacement for judgement.
The Ladies Quartz series uses a different process — starting from source images or patterns, then applying multiple layers of digital filters, distortions, and colour transformations. The result is softer, more abstract. Each pass through the filter chain is unique; small parameter changes produce completely different output. Designed specifically for the 36mm case format.
The Museum series takes a more curatorial approach — drawing from art, architecture, and design history as reference material, then translating these references through the same generative and filter processes used in other series. The aesthetic is more restrained and graphic, closer to print design than digital art.
Each dial starts as a digital image and ends up printed and fitted inside a 41mm or 36mm watch case. Here’s how.
