:: subwave a100 is taking on a pioneering role and started producing several dozen unique watches by hand in 2016. The Swiss-made automatic and high-quality Tourbillions are now sold out. 8 years later, the first industrially produced series of 500 watches is now being released.
Based on the concept of Swiss architect Daniel Schulthess, each watch is a small, unique minimalist work of art. The individual ‘color codes’ are defined with the help of specially developed software.
The AI generators Midjourney and Dall-E are also used in part of the series of colorful wrist watches.
High-quality components characterize the watches and will be released in 2 sizes in 2024:
41mm Miyota automatic and 36mm Seiko Quartz, in numbered editions.
We provide a 2-year warranty which covers only damage or faults in production, no signs of wear or water, impact after a small accident, dents, etc.
The dial prints are unique, so they cannot be replaced with the same graphic.

Was sich in Kunst und Kunsthandwerk schon lange etabliert hat, könnte sich im
Zuge der Digitalisierung auch in serieller Fertigung bald durchsetzen: Individualisierte, einzigartige Produkte. Vor allem für Mode und Accessoires können solch personalisierte Dinge interessant sein. subwave a100 nimmt eine Vorreiterrolle ein und hat 2016 damit begonnen, mehrere Dutzend Uhren-Unikate in viel Handarbeit herzustellen. Die Swiss Made Automatik und hochwertigen Tourbillions sind inzwischen ausverkauft.
8 Jahre später erscheint nun die erste industriell gefertigte Serie mit 500 Uhren. Nach dem Konzept des Schweizer Architekten Daniel Schulthess stellt jede Uhr ein kleines, einzigartiges Minimal Art Kunstwerk dar. Die Definition der einzelnen ‚Color-Codes‘ erfolgt mit Unterstützung der eigens entwickelter Software. In Teil-Serie kommen auch die KI Generatoren Midjourney und Dall-E zum Einsatz.
